Why most bank logos are Blue?

I just realized that almost all investment banks have BLUE as their corporate/logo color.

Among BBs, blue is the color for: GS, MS, JPM, BAML, Barclays, CS, Citi, DB (and even RBC).

Smilarly, among EB: Evercore, PJT, PWP, Centerview, Rothschild, Qatalyst, ...

Any conspiracy theories? Please be witty

maybe my bank is the odd one out but mine is online but the full 10 weeks weird

It's probably better not to. Banks aren't entitled to keep you on the full analyst stint. If you don't get a return you can at least recruit for FT. If you get cut 3 months in, its way harder to lateral.

Side note: Citi pulled auto FT after other banks didn't follow through

green - too obvious, shows our greed red - gross, bad vibes, last thing I want to see in a firm that holds my money is red yellow - you run a bank not a fucking summer camp, don't do it orange - aside from the M&M jars at JPMorgan, just no. one of my favorite colors (go birds!) but not good for business. purple - lol guggenheim, just no brown - no one but jpmorgan can pull this off, and even that's arguable white - not diverse enough black - too boring (sorry steve, but you have a flip phone)

ay first time I've seen another orioles fan on here, great to see

Green - Counter example : TD Ameritrade Red: What do you think about the Bank of America logo (retail banking)? It's virtually red but doesn't seem bad at all. Also what about Soc Gen/Wells Fargo? Yellow: No banks come to mind immediately but other companies (Walmart, McDonald's etc do incorporate Yellow so it's not just summer camps White: Not even possible. There would have to be at least one other color which in that case the logo would be referred to as that color not white Other colors : You basically say "lol it's boring, it's sucks." Not a useful or good argument

While we're on the subject of bank aesthetics why do all EB websites look like HTML project straight out of the 90s. Fukin Moelis's curly text shit gives me an aneurism and I can count the pixels on cvp's images with one hand
