Why to people call funny comments helpful?
I've noticed, more often than not, funny comments on this site being marked as helpful. Why is this? (And no, I'm not just stupid, I can tell when something is and isn't a joke).
That might be true but I think you may be noticing this issue because you may have too much time on your hands.
Recently, with online school, I've had a bit more time to go on WSO, but overall, I'm not spending more than 30 minutes here per day. It's been something I've noticed over the past year.
Perhaps people think that being funny is helpful.

I can't tell you why it's funny but it is
