Average heel height is 4 inches? Someone please correct me. Then add at least 2 inches to that so you look taller in pictures. Should be 6+ inches taller than your girl.

I am 5'8, so when I wear heels, i will hope my man will be slightly taller than me, that's my minimal requirement. But then again, I'm single, so i don't know, maybe I'll meet a nice guy I like but he's only 3 inches taller than me and I'm ok with it? ;)
For reference I'm about 5'2 and 105lbs. I think the perfect height (in my opinion/case) is about 5'7 to 5'10. Josh Hutcherson from the Hunger Games is 5'7 and I think he's incredibly attractive.

Am I the only dude that's afraid of tall chicks? I'm 6'0'' and I prefer my women below 5'5''. Petite but voluptuous is how I like em... unfortunately I heard they do not age well. I can definitely see nice curves on short girls turning into fat before 35.

For most women, its a deal breaker when you're shorter then them. As long as you are taller, even by 2-3 inches, you should be fine.
I'm currently seeing a female who is 3 inches taller than me. She doesnt seem to mind and I actually like it. I dont think it matters beyond the dating profile checklist so if you get in outside of that type of situation you are fine.
I'm about 5'11 and I've dated several girls around my height, and a couple girls who were even a little taller, so I'm not saying its impossible. However, I know many girls who really care about the height factor. I agree with you on the dating profile aspect. If you're meeting girls in person and are charismatic enough, you may as well be 6'5.
I think it depends on the situation. I'm 5'10 or so and most guys I date are right around my height. I've also dated a couple guys who are shorter than I am. They never seem to care so it just comes down to my own insecurities. The shorter guys I have dated actually always encouraged me to wear heels.
