Will NY be the last to get the vaccine?
I think that based on Gov. Cuomo's comments about not trusting the vaccine NY will be the last state to widely distribute the vaccine in the country, which is impressive given how poorly COVID played out in NY. It is really dangerous what some politicians are doing by casting doubt in peoples' (simple and fragile) minds. It is also incredibly disrespectful to all of the scientists grinding, working countless hours to develop a vaccine.

The issue is trust in Trump. I am sure Cuomo will change his mind after January 20th because Trump will be gone by the time the vaccine is distributed broadly.

Cuomo is a moron, this is a well understood and established precedent. For Christ's sake the guy stuck COVID+ patients into nursing homes and is STILL hiding the complete data on who all died because of it. Anyone trusting this twit with anything related to medical wellbeing is as delusional as flat earthers and fits right in with the rest of the anti-vax community. The vaccine has been developed by Pfizer for fuck's sake, if not them, who are you going to trust to develop life saving pharmaceuticals in this country?
This needs to be seriously looked into and if he is actually doing this there need to be consequences. He is endangering everyone after a complete and utter fumble of the entire situation. If you are saying that NY was a success during COVID please walk me through the rationale. I don't know why he is hell bent on making it a worse situation that already created by himself.

It depends who you define as we. It will be available for emergency use in Dec I believe, for PFE at least.

It’s quite comical how everyone is bickering over vaccine distribution. Lol for Christ’s sake, WE DO NOT HAVE AN APPROVED VACCINE. All of these politicians have been blowing smoke since Day 1 as if we are guaranteed a vaccine. We may never get a truely effective vaccine. All of these studies posting good preliminary results are premature and actually irresponsible, considering they know good news will elicit optimism in the stock market, which raises their share prices.
Saying "we may never have an effective vaccine" seems like a stretch buddy.
