Any advice for someone who's beginning to play online on improving, building the bankroll, and eventually playing irl cash games and tournaments?

Play a lot of hands watch a lot of videos.

I only play live.

Not gonna write a super long post on this but just a few big pointers:

-Only play in games where you're totally ok losing your buy in. Otherwise, if the money means a lot to you, you will not be able to make +EV plays.

-Study foundational GTO (Game Theory Optimal), especially for preflop. A huge mistake players make is in not raising enough preflop and not being aware of position.

-Think about hands in terms of ranges as opposed to specific hands.

I can’t do the Vegas WSOP main this year because of school but want to play it in the future. Last month I went to Harrah’s Cherokee NC and Hard Rock Seminole Hollywood FL.

I’m on America’s Cardroom most days.

I played WSOP Main Event last summer. I cashed but it's a very long grueling tournament. Was utterly exhausted after I was done.

Harrah's Cherokee is on my list; they run great tournaments.

This summer for WSOP I'm gonna play Colossus and a few other tournaments at Aria, Venetian, Wynn.

Are you playing The Venom this weekend on ACR? It's a $10M GTD probably $1.5M for first. There are two Day 1 flights left on Sat and Sun. $2,650 entry but you can satty in if possible.

That's cool bro - you've had some good experiences. Yeah Harrah's is only 3hr from me and they have good rates on hotel rooms at the casino too.
