This sounds like an amazing opportunity to meet people in the business... however, I am in Canada (and as such, a Canadian). Is it recommended for us "foreigners" since the chances of us getting work in the US is slim to none..?
Well I know for a fact that several of our Canadian monkeys will be in attendance. I think even if your chance at working in the US is slim, it could still be a helpful way to build contacts and learn from the panelists.

just did some math on all the perks... here is a quick list:
