WSO sh*itting on some kids

Just saw this on LinkedIn. While the whole Q&A is as questionable to me as it is to all the other senior guys here, I'm not a huge fan of Patrick shitting on the newcomers. We were all pumped for our SA position once, so is the OP, just wanting to contribute something. No need to ridicule them on social media for that.

Agreed. While that post was a bit tongue in cheek, you could tell there was good intent. Those kind of informational posts are what made WSO great once upon a time. Anecdotes are nice.

You are an imbecile! WSO simply repurposed, word for word, a question and answer from the website, since a comment which does well on the site will also probably do well on social media. It was a comment which got 26 silver bananas and 0 monkey shits - these stats are the reason why the social media post was made, it doesn't matter if the person who posted it agreed with the message or not because it was never about the message. It was a comment which no one, including yourself, responded to negatively within its thread. And then you have the audacity to create your own thread to expose WSO (when at the same time it would be so easy to see that WSO did nothing wrong if you simply removed the foggy lens through which you view life)! Do you feel like some kind of hero, big guy, having created this thread? What you should really be up in arms about, if you feel like being up in arms about something, Batman, is the fact that the AMA was met with overwhelming toxicity by the users of this website.

And do not get me wrong. I will not sit atop the throne of my moral high ground. But you claim moral superiority over something unconcerned by morality, and fail to claim it over the entity you should actually have been upset with. Which is why all I am doing is calling you a low iq individual.
