2027 Private Equity Associate Comp

For those that have received offers, I’m curious how much base + bonus is being offered. Understanding comp isn’t the most important thing, any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Was it framed like up to 190k bonus?

No that was what a first year received last year

If you landed offers during this cycle will zelle you 10 bucks to debrief to me lol dm

These MF's were paying for the c/o 2024 for the most part, industry is truly in a hard place. Excited to be a senior associate at my firm, but not sure I'd join PE today without doing a lot of due dilligence as to exact strenghth of platform even if UMM/MF (even MF's have terrible performance and accordingly fundraising).

surprising data given majority of top MFs/UMMs are already paying 325-350 for current asso

Is co invest really a differentiation point? Feel like they all would offer it. It’s a benefit to the fund and just aligns incentives better.

Seems like all MF numbers here, so just to offer MM numbers. ~5bn fund size non-NYC/SF/BOS: ~150k base and same target bonus with a 20k signing/relocation bonus.
