2nd Year IB Associate

I am a second year associate post MBA and I'm really looking to get out of IB. I graduated from a M7 MBA and spent the last 2 years in a top 3 Healthcare IB group. What is the best way for me to move to PE or growth equity while still making use of my past experience? Should I try for on cycle or would take a huge hit to comp and start the same as a 2nd year analyst.
