Prep for a 4-to-5-hour case study (with built-from-scratch model and memo output)

Has anyone been through a 4-to-5-hour case study, where you're required to do a built-from-scratch LBO model and a short memo, and you're given sufficient materials on the TargetCo. incl. financial reports (10-K, 6-K, 20-F, earnings releases, etc.),  Investor presentation materials, analyst reports, etc.?

For such case studies, how will you split the time for material reading, modeling, memo writing and so on? What's the "optimal" procedure based on your experience? And any tips for case studies of such format?

Thanks in advance!
