A2A PE Opportunities

If I go A2A at my bank, will recruiters continue to send me PE Associate opportunities? Or will those inbounds disappear? Are IB associates who’ve gone A2A less desirable to PE firms or more desirable than the 2nd yr analyst?

Like if I know I ultimately want to transition to PE, should I be aggressively pushing for summer ‘25 opportunities? Or will there be opportunities for next summer (‘26) start date (asso promote happens 6/30 this year)? I’d probably rather stay in IB for 12mo of associate pay (A0 6mo + 6mo of A1), and maximize WLB from the reputation I’ve built as I’m currently very close to burnout. And likely market will be better by then, so will maybe get better looks
