Advice needed: Switching from PE to Wealth Management at Associate level

I’m 30 and I currently hold Associate position in PE fund. Prior to joining the PE fund 4 years ago, I followed a standard career path, spending several years in an investment bank in junior positions. Participated in several closed M&A and ECM deals both on the sell side and on the buy side. I'm not a star player, but I'm not far behind either.

Now I am considering moving to a small family office in London with relocation. They have about £2bn under management and have so far relied entirely on wealth management advisors (Cambridge Associates). But now they want to build a strategy and manage the portfolio themselves investing across different asset classes.

I understand in general terms how wealth management works, but I have never done it in practice. Desperate for advice from you guys. Please advise some materials (books, online courses, maybe here at WSO) to better prepare for interviews. Will appreciate any insights about wealth management from you guys (day in the life, salaries, etc)!
