Alpine Investors - Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I've recently read up a lot on Alpine Investors as they seem interesting. It would be great to hear about their culture, comp, reputation, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your answer. When you mention pay in line with comps, would you expect them to pay below banking levels for a 1st year analyst (around 200k)

That's great. Do you have any idea whether your friend joined from a target or non-target? Asking as I'm curious how to recruit for them from a non-target given they focus all their recruitment efforts at their target schools.

They held sessions at my school during the last recruiting cycle and I thought their culture really stood out from the rest of the pack. Everyone was very friendly and seemed happy, there was a certain degree of spontaneous casualness and connection there that didn’t seem faked (or at least faked better than other firms)

Networked with people there and interviewed. They’ve killed it in the last couple of years with great returns. Would second what others have said about culture; people were super nice and everyone emphasized their focus on developing junior talent + level of responsibility at the analyst level.

Not sure if you meant to but your personal info and contact info is visible.
