They like their cool non ivy league target schools. They recruited at mine and schools like notre dame/Mich/Duke. Bain Capital's CEO Steve Pagliuca's son works there. There is also a former Harvard football player that is there who had a very unusual path to the job. From my experience with them, they're not looking for the cold blooded finance folks, but rather intellectual firepower.
