Am I Underpaid?
Not to sound ridiculous but I was fortunate to sign an on cycle offering at my top shop, where I really clicked with the people, the mandate and the returns (~20Bn) by leveraging a MF offer.
My quoted total comp is 150/150 (base / target bonus) with profit share starting in first full calendar year.
This is an incredible amount of money but I see all these TC discussions and see people making 350+. The offer I leveraged was also 300 TC on paper. Is bonus typically higher than target? How should I think of this.
Latest offers are ~$375k. You got rinsed.
