Analyst to Associate Prep LMM PE

I’m currently an A2 at a LMM PE firm that focuses on B2B SaaS. The analyst role at my firm is predominantly a sourcing role with the opportunity to work on deal execution for deals you bring in. I was recently told that I am on track for a promotion to Associate and that I should be prepping outside of work to ensure I am ready to make the jump. To this point my contributions to execution have been simpler analyses and assisting the associates that own the model. I was curious if anyone has any advice or resources for someone who wants to refine their modeling / technical skills in preparation for a jump from a role that is mostly sourcing to majority deal execution. I have a little more than 6 months and would appreciate any guidance that anyone has. Thanks.
