I'm a consulting background and got offered a value creation fund at a very reputable UMM/LC European buyout investor. Pay-package is quiet cushy.
I'm quiet burned out doing deal work in PE but at the same time was always brain washed that anything outside the investment team is not a good role.
My worst nightmare would be that the value creation role would be MBB hours + travel with lower perks/name brand then MBB.
