Ares PE (ACOF) in 2025

Looking for thoughts on Ares Corporate Opportunities fund in 2025. Fund performance seems to be relatively poor and resulted in multiple down funds:

Fund V (2017): $7.85bn, 6% IRR

Fund VI (2020): $5.74bn, 16% IRR

Fund VII is in market with $2.8bn raised.

Analyst/associate exits seem to be to LMM funds as well.
