Benefit to second year in IB?

If you are in the unlikely scenario that a top PE firm is willing to take you on after your first year in banking, is it worth it to stay in banking for your second year? Realize this is very uncommon for PE but a headhunter is pushing a first year to an interview for a slot that opened up at the last minute for a 2014 start.

I'd imagine that you still have a lot to learn in your second year but then again you might just be doing a rehash. You'd be burning bridges with your IB group and that could hurt come business school app time. Also, you might not be as prepared as people coming in with 2-3 years of experience. That said, it would push your career path forward a year and you don't have to grind away another year in banking. Thoughts from people in the industry?
