Is anyone familiar with the team or the firm in general? They just raised $900M+ and will likely surpass $1.5B in the next raise. There doesn’t seem to be much information out there on them for their size.

I interviewed with them a while back. Smart guys. They invest in traditional businesses (Industrials, Consumer and Business Services) and try to bring some kind of “tech-enabled” angle to drive returns.

Mix of paper lbos, technical case walk throughs / deal discussion, and behavioral. I wouldn’t say jt was the hardest super day I’ve done, but definitely need to be sound technically.
I know them well, very well run.
Have bid against them for cheaper stuff (bolt ons).
Heard it’s sweaty given the lean investment team but have zero direct insight.

Got asked to do a case study and invested a lot of time building a full operating model / deck. They didn’t even reply or follow up and I know my work was correct because I work at a comparable firm. Felt very disingenuous and insincere. Avoid this firm

I was interviewing and connected with the recruiter. I was given the case study and completed it over ~a week. I then had multiple interviews scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled, and re-cancelled last minute, multiple times. After rescheduling for the 3rd time, I received an automated message out of the blue informing me that the position has been filled and was ghosted by the recruiter. Ridiculous.
