Best Advice for Summer Analyst Role

Hi everyone,

I'll be joining a private equity fund as a summer analyst in a few months and wanted to get a sense on what I can expect from the summer experience in the way of responsibilities, hours, as well as what good/bad interns do.

Anything you can offer would be super helpful. Thanks for the time.

Same advice I impart to all interns - act as a sponge and focus on learning and absorbing everything that's happening around you. Don't ever think you're below a task and if you're asked to do something, deliver to the best of your abilities no matter how trivial it seems. If you make a mistake, make sure you don't repeat it. As long as you're hungry and humble, you'll do just fine. Good luck
