I am extremely interested in “loan to own” investing and am looking to move to Boston for a variety of reasons. What are the best firms in Boston that do loan to own? In terms of reputation, comp, WLB. Thanks!

I don’t think any shop only does loan to own. It’s mostly part of special sits investing so maybe Bain has something but most of Boston (similar to SF) is growthy investing

Distressed for control is also never going to be great for WLB. Would suggest another strategy if you care about that.
