Best time to lateral as a PE Associate
Just finished my first full year as an Associate. MM fund. Due to fundraising issues, it doesn't look like there will be any Sr. Assoc slots for my class at the end of this year. Given the lack of a career track, trying to gauge whether it is better to lateral now or wait until the end of my second year.
Note: not interested in going to B-school.
