"I wanna be paid a lot and not work as much as other people being paid comparably" - that's how this reads.
If this is truly your selection criteria you should rethink PE entirely.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I feel like WLB does not equal working less. It means things like a culture of not creating pointless work, not working on Christmas or Saturday just for the sake of "this is PE". It doesn't mean you don't spring when a deal or portco requires it. I'm not at one right now but I have to believe these kinds of places exist.
Yes, what you’re describing is good culture. I think it does exist in PE. WLB is a different concept and I don’t think it exists in MM+ PE.

You want to be an LP. Get paid decently, don't work hard at all and pretty much never work a weekend.
Broad question, but could you approximate what "getting paid decently" means in $ figures and at what seniority level? Also, what types of LPs offer this kind of WLB?
