Blackstone PWS

Student here keen on pursuing a career in Investor Relations in PE

Recently got an opportunity to interview for BX PWS Client Services internship role (specifically in marketing) and I want to know if this position would give me the flexibility to move from Marketing to Sales in the future?

have some questions:

1. Does BX PWS operate separately from the rest of the group? (i believe PWS client base would be PB/WM, end client high net worth investors but I would like to face insti investors)

2. BX internal mobility

3. Blackstone PWS Client Services (Marketing) vs. Blackrock Insti and Retail Sales -> Which one is better to eventually exit to an IR position at a MF?

Think majority of people here are more interested in investments side but would appreciate any help!
Im based in Asia if anyone has specific colour for this region. Curious about comp as well.
