Board Member Compensation

Hi all,

I raised capital and I have been working on a roll-up strategy for past few months. My partner and I are putting together a board of credible folks to help give us additional credibility. I was wondering what the typical comp is for board members? We were thinking of a small amount of options that would vest over 2-3years.

We have a senior partner from a big7 law firm that we will add to our board and he will also be investing in the business. How do you guys figure we should pay him for board meeting attendance?

Thanks for any input
