Bregal Partners
Anyone know anything about them? Look to be focused on consumer and services companies based in NYC and backed largely by one family. Anyone have a sense for culture, performance, returns, exit opps, etc.?
Bregal has multiple funds (FoF/ Secondaries/CO-Investments, Energy, Growth, US, DACH)
Seems like their DACH and FoF strategies are well regarded in their respective markets, with above market pay as well as great returns.
Bregal Partnes (the US fund) has not had great performance. The founding family owns a small part of the GP but is not the only/ lead LP anymore for most funds.
Bump. Any more insights? Have seen a few job postings from them recently and am curious on the latest.
