Can anyone give me advice on fundraising?

Hi everyone.

I would appreciate any of your help and advice.

Background

Currently in a newly founded Asia based LMM PE that is on a first live deal, a growth equity deal. Since we do not have a blind fund yet, so I am in a fundraising process. This is actually the first time for me to get involved in a fundraising.

So here are my questions.

  1. How should I build relationships with LPs?

  2. Because of the current currency exchange rate and geographical diversification, I think pension funds in U.S. might be interested in the deal. What would be best way to approach them?

  3. Minimum guaranteed net IRR of 12% for LP would appeal to U.S. investors considering a deal outside if U.S.? The exit is expected in 4 years.

Thank you in advance!
