Charlesbank Capital Partners
Hi! I'm interviewing at Charlesbank for the ASO1 role soon. Currently at MBB and would love to learn more about the culture and general sentiments? Comp? Interview tips? Anything else I should know?
Overall, they seem great. People are nice and they have a good training program. Just wanna hear what others have to say.
Thanks!
curious as well

Solid shop. WLB is a little group dependent but generally smart, good people and good training.
*ignore title - associate in PE
If you want to work at your next job long term, avoid it like the plague. Majority of the portfolio is in the shitter.
But if you wanna prestige max and go to a good business school, great opportunity.
All in all, would view the fund as a 2 and out - won’t be clipping big bonuses unless there is a massive turnaround

Do you have any friends that work at Berkshire? Just curious how the culture / comp / WLB differs between the two as they’re both sought-after Boston shops.
Portfolio is in the gutter
also curious to know how does the process look like? through their HR or headhunter (Which one?) thanks!
For summer ‘25 start date?
