Cohen Private Ventures (Point72)

Cohen Private Ventures (CPV) is the private investment arm of Point72 (new SAC Capital) that invests in a variety of private markets. couple Q's:

  • any idea if this is totally secluded from the broader P72 firm or integrated? (i.e., are you really part of P72 or is this run in it's own building with different systems, resources, etc. and nobody knows each other?). seems to have it's own website and LinkedIn page if that'd be an indication.
  • is there a consensus on whether working at CPV/Point72 would be viewed negatively for future opps? say for example you want to go to b-school after having worked there, ya think adcoms view this as tainted in any way?
