Consulting ratings and PE interviews --- Background check
Hello monkeys,
How do PE firms check ratings in their background check? I'm pretty sure HR is not allowed to disclose this information, so I was wondering what is done in practice.

A background check doesn't cover your performance reviews at current / previous jobs. But many firms will ask for a reference (and that person will need to speak highly of you).
