Anyone could share latest reviews, comp, hours, if possible to lateral to traditional PE shops (possibly in the US), are they still doing direct investing or rolling it back now?

CPP and other major canadian pensions except for BCI I think is shifting focus away from direct to fund investments, go on LinkedIn, you'll notice high attrition in the last 2 years
Bonus multipliers are low, less direct work and doing more funds & co-invest work, overall deal flow is down, other peers are moving to less direct model as well.
I wouldn't go there. Doubt you could lateral anywhere, too much funds exposure, slowly been shuttering whatever remained of direct for a while now
