CPP Investment Board case study

I’m interviewing for an analyst position in the infrastructure team of the CPP Investment board and am due to do a case study next week. Does anyone have any advice/has anyone done one before? Also, does anyone have any idea about compensation there?

Toronto IBD just raised base by 15K for analysts (making base come to 80K), so I imagine CPP will follow suit. I'm unsure about the bonus, but it's definitely less than sell-side, given it's a public pension plan (i.e. Canadian Federal Government). So bonus may be 100% of base during an epic year, which CPP hasn't really had (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

Not sure what school you go to but not all banks raised base to 80k, and comp is not inline with street... approx 15%-20% bellow. The interview can be very technical, be prepared and know the details. gl

Hi Umair, could you share some details about the case study you had for case interview? I am currently preparing for an experienced investment analyst position for its Hong Kong office. Appreciate your help!
