Currently fielding interest for Credit roles at megafunds (KKR, Apollo types). I think credit is interesting, but I think I might ultimately like to pursue PE at some point. Is it hard moving from Private Credit analyst to PE associate? Do private credit professionals have opportunities to move into hedge funds?

Yes private credit guys can move to both PE and HF, have seen both happen
Really comes down what credit focus this is (senior vs mezz/pref equity) and how long you are involved (10y or 2y) - if the latter, a switch should be def doable. i have seen multiple times from MF Credit/SS to MF PE (sometimes internally, sometimes externally).
