CVC PE New York Updates

Saw CVC close a record PE fund size recently and wanted to see if people have updated perspectives on their US presence? I know their growth equity team has a sizeable team here but haven’t heard much about their flagship buyout team.

Curious to see how much success they’ve seen vs the other European funds that have tried to expand in the US, i.e. EQT, Apax, Permira, Cinven, Hg among others

Interesting that they’ve (reportedly) maintained a true deal team-by-deal team carry structure at scale. Even US MFs tend to have deal-by-deal waterfalls that pay out to everyone as opposed to the specific deal team.

Quick search on Google will say I’m right. Alan Patricof

Bumping. Interested in Hg especially as well, feel like EQT has been sufficiently covered on this forum.
