Wanted to hear if anyone had thoughts on Dallas PE firms (especially since latest thread is 3 years ago). Any opinions/insight on the best funds in terms of dealflow, culture, returns, b-school etc.? List includes, but not limited to:

Insight, CenterOak, Trive, Kainos, Redbird, CIC, Gauge, Lonestar, several energy-focused firms (NGP, EnCap, EMG, Tailwater, Pearl), Others
