Deal Sourcing & Qualification in MM (LMM) PE/Private Credit

Hi WSO, longtime lurker here! WSO helped me a lot during my brief stint in banking before I moved to Product Management, so I figured I'd post here in addition to asking around in my network.

1. What does the deal sourcing stack & process look like currently at a MM/LMM PE/Private Credit fund; do you use Grata/Sourcescrub etc? What would you say are the main pain-points (if any at all)?

2. I'm currently in the early stages of building something (after talking to a few industry veterans) in this space to autonomously source, reach-out & qualify MM/LMM businesses. Would love to chat with anyone with transaction experience to pressure test the idea and if there's real interest, join the founding team.

Our team has over a decade of experience building and scaling platform products, recommendation engines at companies like Apple, Lyft, and Bloomberg, and over the last few of years, AI agents. If this sounds interesting, I’d love to connect and share more details.
