Delayed final round feedback

My recruiter said they'd have a catch up last Friday with a fund I did final rounds with last week. I haven't heard back yet and the recruiter says their debrief/decision meeting was pushed. From your experience, how likely is it the meeting was actually pushed vs. I'm on a waitlist right now in case someone doesn't accept their offer?

Thanks just trying to get a feel for what I should be expecting at this point

Depends on the nature of the position you were recruiting for? Is this associate offcycle? Rough size of the fund?

It's in Europe, Associate hire, "off-cycle" but it's not as structure here as in the US. Fund is ~$10bn but the European team far smaller with ~10-15 guys total (out of ~100 total for the fund)

This was virtual yes - got it, I'll just wait it out, unfortunately not much you can do at this point. Thanks for the comment, just a bit nervous because I know it wasn't perfect
