Can’t speak to growth or performance but know they’ve grown rapidly. Have known former associates and don’t think it’s a great culture / experience.

Don’t have specifics but they have turned over their entire mid level (VPs/Principals) multiple times. Given the firm trajectory it seems like there must be something very wrong if the people with the most to gain are voluntarily leaving.

Worked to the bone. From what I heard some of the VPs & seniors are okay but others can be rough to work with and sharp elbowed. At the end of the day, they're focused on multi-unit service buy & builds of smaller to mid size initial platforms in highly fragmented markets which means a TON of add ons and work to go around.  It's the reason they've been successful, but can make for a tough life as an ASO.

Know an associate there who reasonably enjoyed their experience. I think the pros are pretty obvious: rapidly growing fund, a lot early deal exposure and responsibility, promotion to senior assoicate if someone stays. However, it is very sweaty and even more so than banking from what I've heard. Mid-levels are very political and sharp-elbowed. Won't matter for the senior associate or initial VP promote, but heard politics are are massively important past that point.
