How difficult is it/is it easy to get stuck in London? What kind of firm did you end up at? Were you able to adjust to the PE business environment in Asia?

HK is getting slaughtered. Most Greater China-focused teams will not be hiring. You can see a lot of talents going to GPs in the Middle East. Your best bet would be Family Offices that have very flexible mandates.
As a BB IBD analyst in London. I want to return to HK at any cost as soon as possible due to family matters. Which kinds of roles should I target then. Is MM PE feasible?
Closet you can get to Asia right now (from my perspective) is Singapore.
All the BBs in HK are not hiring (no one is listing) + they're firing.
Worth considering the boutiques like PJT (Rx / Secondaries), Evercore (SEA M&A / Secondaries), Moelis (Generalist HK M&A / Rx), HL (Rx), Greenhill (Secondaries). No comment on Lazard (think they fired the entire China team last year).
Try speaking to Principle Partners (there's a recruiter always posting roles), Options Group (seems like they have an HK office now). Laikee Tang was also a recruiter I spoke to but seems like she got arrested LOL
