Do operating partners get similar comp to actual PE partners?

Do they get similar carry, salary etc? Do operating partners stay on as long or do they normally just oversee a specific deal/port co?

They will get a lower comp. However, their carry its based on the exit of the portco (3-5) years instead of at the end of fund for the investment team (8-10 years).
