Just wondering if schools matter for on cycle recruiting...like would someone who to went to Harvard/Wharton have better chances than someone from a non-target even if both are at the same bank/group? How much weight is placed on school for PE?

Duh... target schools are more likely to have alumni from their school at top firms who will see the relation and be more likely to show interest in helping them develop as a professional. It's basic in-group bias.
