ERP and Business Intelligence software for LMM PE portfolio companies

Hi all,

Curious about the level of ERP-systems and business intelligence systems (Tableau etc.) PE firms implement in their portfolio companies in the LMM space?

I am currently looking for a suitable ERP system for a portfolio company in our family business , and was wondering if there are recommendations for the smaller LMM space. Scalability and ease of use are quite high on the wishlist, as well as not breaking the bank with some larger scale solutions like Oracle's Netsuite. Would be ideal to find a solution which I can stick with in any future cases.

What is the standard requirements for LMM PE in terms of what is needed from an ERP, and do PE firms additionally utilise business intelligence solutions like Tableau (no experience from this) etc?

EDIT: I am operating in the retail space, but all suggestions welcome.

Thanks a lot if anyone can contribute, best, B
