Evaluating opportunity in a PE backed company

Hello monkeys πŸ’,

I would appreciate your input on how I can assess the job (and the investment) I've been offered.

I've been offered a position in the management team in a PE backed company in Europe. The PE firm is a strong Central European player.

My previous experience are mainly within companies where I've been offered RSUs (so no initial payment), but this time I would take part of a MPP/MIP, and invest somewhere between €50,000 and €300,000.

My questions are:

What questions shall I ask the PE firm to understand how much they believe in this company? And what shall I ask the company?

Also, in the annual report, what metrics are important for me to look at to understand the performance? I believe the company goes under the sector industrial.

What more is important for me to look at when I assess this opportunity?

When it comes to the operational work itself, I know exactly what to do and how to assess it. My questions are more related to overall company performance, current valuation, future valuation and how the PE exit landscape would look like over the next 2-5 years.

Any information is appreciated, as I'm not really sure what I should ask πŸ™ˆ

Thanks πŸŒπŸ’
