Excel Course - Heading to MSB

So I'm heading to Gtown (MSB) in a couple weeks to start college and have nothing to do as my internship at a local boutique capital investment firm only lasted until the end of July. I did a little work with excel, but nothing was too in depth. I've been thinking of things to keep me busy and would like to try to master excel. Would a course like the BIWS Excellence with excel be my best option? Keep in mind, I have yet to take a college business course. Should i pursue this now, or wait until next Summer? I was hoping to be proficient enough with it so that next Summer I could try to land a job at local PE Firm I have a connection at. Thanks for your advice in advance.

Thanks y'all! I figure I might as well get it now, and I could return to it in a year or two and refresh myself again if need be.
