Final round 2 weeks ago, no answer
I interviewed with a Canadian fund two weeks ago. Went through all the ~6 stages (case study, etc). My final round 2 weeks ago. I actually had a good feeling about how it went. Somehow I never heard back.
I sent a follow up after 3/4 days to their internal recruiter to see when I should expect to hear back. Still nothing.
I know they are interviewing people that are at earlier stages (their PA sent me the wrong invite by mistake).
At this point it's been 2 weeks. They didn't even tell me if the position is filled or not. I'm no longer really hoping but I find it a bit rude to ghost your candidates.
what is your take on this?

Keep following up until you get an answer, but it's likely a no if you haven't heard anything for 2 weeks.
what about 2 weeks without a response in the intermediary (1st > 2nd round or 2nd to 3rd round)?
take a loss and move on
Name and shame
Omers. Had a call set up 4 weeks after final round and their recruiter never showed up, no email to explain, nothing.
Fuck em man, they underpay even vs other top pensions anyways.
