First round interview with company recruiter
Has anyone had a first round where the interview is with the company recruiter, not the deal team? I've had a few phone screens with third party recruiters, but never in-house. I'm just curious how my preparations would differ. This is for an IR position at a PE firm, so I imagine it wouldn't be too technical to begin with, but I'm just trying to think of how differently a recruiter would be asking questions vs. deal team. I imagine the questions would be more behavioral in nature / trying to gauge fit.
