From LMM/MM turnaround / distressed PE to traditional MM PE London

Hi all,

I am currently working in turnaround/distressed PE in Europe (outside the UK), with a focus on small and midmarket deals. Revenues of the targets are usually in a few hundred millions euros. I have a background in IB and consulting. How difficult / realistic is it to break into traditional MM PE in London from a distressed/turnaround background? How about upper MM? Have you seen this done? Interested in the US as well, but see this as a rather challenging jump from Europe.

Thanks!
