I have a first-round interview for an Analyst seat on the PE funds team at one of the Maple 8 funds. For anyone who has interviewed with or worked on a Maple 8 funds team:
How technical does it get? Is it mostly GP assessment and fund-level maths (TVPI, DPI, IRR, J-curve, fees and carry), or do they also go into company-level valuation and LBO?
How is the weighting between behavioural and technical, and is there anything specific to the culture at these funds that I should expect?
