Funds with Direct-Entry into industry groups at Associate Level

As far as I can tell, most PE funds in the MM and MF level run on a generalist platform for associates; you're not placed into "groups" and I'm sure there's some sort of logical staffing process where you voice which kind of projects / industries to be placed on

Which are the ones that have direct-entry into industry groups? For example, I know TPG and Carlyle do, where you join the TMT team, healthcare team, etc.

I'd be interested in knowing more if any WSO'ers are in the know. Looking at the upper MM and MF level.

Thanks!
